Marjorie Claire Stark, 97, and a resident of Parkwood Health Care Center in Lebanon, Indiana went to be with the Lord Tuesday evening, January 31, 2012. She was born on January 14, 1915, in Lebanon, Indiana, the daughter of the late Elmer Thomas and Alpha Kathrine (Robbins) Stark.
She attended Central and Lebanon High School and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1934. She attended Butler University and the Chicago Art Institute.
Marjorie worked in Chicago and Indianapolis for several years as a clerical worker. She was employed at the Farmers State Bank in Zionsville and for Stewart-Warner in Lebanon for twelve years. For a period of time, Marjorie worked as an interior decorator for a furniture store in Bloomington, Indiana and at Gray Furniture in Whiteland, Indiana for four years. She retired in 1962.

Funeral Services are to be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Myers Mortuary with Rev. David Wright officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana, on Monday, February 6, 2012.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph W. Stark and a sister, Mary Helen Hissong.
