Age: 82 WidowedCity of Residence: Whitestown, IndianaDate of Death: Sunday, April 27, 2014Place of Death: at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon Mrs. Phyllis Lee Tuder was born in Boone County, Indiana, on March 18, 1932, the daughter of the late Lowell and Beulah Pearl (Ottinger) Thistlethwaite. A life resident of Boone County, Phyllis lived in the Big Springs, Gadsden, and Whitestown communites and attended schools in Whitestown. On June 25, 1949, she was married to Billie J. Tuder near Rosston, Indiana. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1998. Mrs. Tuder spent her life taking care of her home and her family. Prior to the birth of her son, Phyllis worked at Bel Mar Industries in Whitestown and she helped her husband farm. He was the third generation of his family to farm the property east of Lebanon. They retired in 1997. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved every moment with her family including years spent camping. Phyllis and her husband enjoyed collecting and showing antique tractors together.
