Albert "Liney" Linedecker

Mr. Albert “Liney” Linedecker, 91, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. He was born in Stockwell, Indiana on January 12, 1926, a son of the late Albert B. and Hazel Mildred (Crose) Linedecker. He was a 1944 graduate of Stockwell High School. Following graduation, he served during WWII in the United States Marine Corp. He then returned to Stockwell. In July 1944, he was married to Patsy (Eller) Linedecker in Stockwell; they divorced in 1962. He then married Doris Virginia (Huffman) Beasey Linedecker on March 31, 1967, in Lebanon, Indiana. Doris passed away on May 30, 2016. Liney dedicated 70 years to the lumber business working in Colfax, Zionsville, and Lebanon communities. In February 1963, he was the Lumber Center Manager for Metzger Lumber in both Zionsville and Lebanon. Most recently, he was employed as an estimator for Kramer Lumber in Lebanon. Liney attended Centenary United Methodist Church in Lebanon and was a former member of the Elks Club. He loved the time spent with his family and enjoyed watching sports. Funeral Services are to be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Rev. James Paino, officiating. Visitation is planned from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment with military rites will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana. Beasey and wife, Pamela – Lake Wales, Florida Daughter-in-law: Deloris Linedecker – Brownsburg, Indiana Grandchildren: Doniel Kolm and husband, Peter – Lebanon, Indiana Dennis Gilmore and wife, Tonya – Carlisle, Pennsylvania Denise Cochran and husband, Brian – Lebanon, Indiana Paul Shoemaker – Brownsburg, Indiana Shannon Cooper and husband, Jeff – Rockville, Indiana Christina Hiland and husband, Danny – Lebanon, Indiana Cari Pugh and husband, Robert – Sheridan, Indiana Kelly Gilbert – Ft. Wayne, Indiana Laura Kutz and husband, Sean – Pahrump, Nevada Several Great Grandchildren One Great Great Grandchild Sister: Phyllis Memmer – Lafayette, Indiana Deceased: In addition to his parents and his wife, Liney was preceded in death by a son, Fred Linedecker; a sister, Mary Lou Garrett; a brother-in-law, Harold Memmer; and two great grandsons, Brayton Hiland and Daniel Thomas Stevenson.
