She was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on May 8, 1956, a daughter of the late Herbert T. “Tommy” and Beulah “Boots” (Gibson) Griggs. Reared and educated in Boone County, Indiana, Beth graduated from Lebanon High School in 1974. On August 31, 1974, she was married to John K. Maiden in Lebanon, Indiana. Mr. Maiden survives.Beth and her husband lived in Lafayette, Indiana for five years prior to moving to Chalmers, Indiana. In 1999, they moved to Normal, Illinois, where she had since resided. For thirty-five years, Beth worked for the State Farm Insurance Company for both Indiana and Illinois offices.She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Beth loved her family tremendously, she was especially fond of her grandchildren. She enjoyed vacationing with her family and cooking.Funeral Services are to be held at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, on Thursday, November 7, 2013, (E.S.T.), with Rev. Greg Berkey, officiating.Visitation is planned to begin at 4:00 p.m. (E.S.T.)until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at the funeral home in Lebanon.Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) on Friday, November 8, 2013, at the Ladoga Cemetery in Ladoga, Indiana.Survivors: Husband: Mr. John K.
