Age: 88 Widowed City of Residence: Lebanon, IndianaDate of Death: Wednesday, October 15, 2014Place of Death: At Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana Mrs. Beulah Mae Bishop was born on January 17, 1926, in Boone County, Indiana, a daughter of the late Arthur Buren and Bernice (Sheets) Quick. On December 31, 1947, she was married to Marvin Leon Bishop in Lebanon, Indiana. Mr. Bishop passed away on December 8, 2001. She was a life resident of Boone County where she graduated from Whitestown High School in 1944. During the summer between her Junior and Senior year, she worked at the Lebanon Glove Factory. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Bishop had worked on the shell line at Winkler’s during WWII. While married Beulah helped her husband with building houses. She had painted nearly 2200 dog houses that had been made by her husband. She was an excellent seamstress and had a talent for sewing and upholstery. She enjoyed crafts, especially wooden toys, jigsaw puzzles, and watching the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers. Mrs. Bishop was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Rev. Fred Tanselle, officiating. Visitation is planned for Saturday, October 18, 2014, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Lebanon.Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.Survivors: Two Daughters: Paula J.
