Bourne was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 5, 1927. He was the son of the late Harry Richard Bourne and Viola (Kleinz) Bourne Siemen. Reared and educated in Chicago, Mr. Bourne graduated from Chicago Christian High School. He attended Illinois Institute of Technology where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to graduate school at Arizona State University. He was first married to Mildred Jane (Jorgensen) Bourne and they divorced. On December 9, 1983, he was married to Mary Louise (Wallace) Endres Bourne. Mrs. Bourne passed away on October 22, 2012.Mr. Bourne worked as a supervisor at Essex Wire in Lafayette. For a period of time, he was a rural mail carrier and had owned and operated a drapery hanging shop. Bruce moved to Lebanon in 1983. While in Lebanon he delivered flowers for Mount’s Flowers & Gifts and he drove for Boone County Senior Services.A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Bruce enjoyed spending time with his family. In his free time, he enjoyed reading and traveling.Memberships: First Presbyterian Church – Lebanon, Indiana Lebanon Lions Club (Past President) Graveside Services will be held at a later date in Villa Grove, Illinois.Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.Survivors: Three Children: William A.
