Warburton was born in Boone County, Indiana, on January 29, 1934, the son of the late Joe Raymond and Martha A. (Newkirk) Warburton. A resident of Boone County for most of his life, Charles was a graduate of Kirklin High School in 1952 and later attended Purdue University. He was also a graduate of the School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.For three years, Charles worked at Pittman Moore in Zionsville. He began his career in banking with the Boone County State Bank where he was Vice President and Cashier. When the bank became known as Key Bank he held the position as Chief of Security. In 1999, he retired after 44 years in the banking industry. Charlie also ran CWT Tree Moving, and he operated the family farm located north of Lebanon. On September 27, 1953, he was married to Margaret Louise (Kelley) Warburton in Hillisburg, Indiana, and she survives.As a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather he loved his family dearly. There were several things Charlie had enjoyed doing when not working including serving on the interim school board that formed the Western Boone School Corporation, serving as Clinton Township Trustee for fifteen years, and having coffee at Denny’s.Memberships: Grace Church in Lebanon and Elizaville Baptist Church Lebanon Rotary ClubOfficiating: Dr. Grant Hodges and Rev.
