She was born in Hendricksville, Indiana on August 11, 1949, a daughter of Walter and Annabelle (Hendricks) Hendricks. Raised and educated in Greene County, Indiana, Connie attended Eastern Greene High School. On December 1, 1964, she was married to William Thomas “Tom” Scott in Bloomfield, Indiana. The couple would have celebrated 50 years together. In 1976, Connie moved to Boone County where she had attended Jamestown United Methodist Church and had work at the local IGA in Jamestown for many years. She was also the bookkeeper for her husband’s concrete business, Scott & Sons. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Connie loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her family, she enjoyed cooking and doing yard work, planting flowers and gardening. Connie was an avid reader and spent many hours volunteering at the St. Vincent Hospital in Frankfort, reading to patients. On occasion, she and Tom would take bicycle rides around town. Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, on Monday, June 16, 2014, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.Private Family Graveside Services will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Old Sylvania Cemetery near Bloomfield, Indiana, with Rev.
