After school he joined the Indiana National Guard.On September 3, 1977, in Thorntown, Indiana, he was married to Mary (Shepherd) Denney. Mrs. Denney survives.During the 1960’s, Mr. Denney owned and operated a Dairy Queen in Marion, Indiana. He spent 15 years at American Monitor in Indianapolis. He then went to work for Camden Medical Supply and also Neighbor-Care Pharmacy, both of Indianapolis. He was a security guard at CNH in Lebanon and during retirement, he worked for the Indianapolis Car Exchange.Mr. Denney was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family. As a youth, he enjoyed tinkering with hotrods. Other hobbies included collecting Native American artifacts and antiques. His greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his grandchildren fishing, camping, swimming, hiking, skating, drinking root beer and eating ice cream.Officiating: Pastor Lee Faust and Fr.
