Deborah A. Walker

Deborah Ann (Lloyd) Walker, 73, of Lebanon, IN passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born April 7, 1951, at Witham Hospital in Lebanon, IN to Lawrence Edward and Bernice Elizabeth (Quick) Lloyd. She attended Lebanon Community Schools until her senior year where she attended and graduated from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis. She married Donald Allen Walker on August 7, 1982, and they were blessed to celebrate their 42nd anniversary this last year. Always a hard worker, she retired in 2014 from PWG in Lebanon after working there for over 15 years. She always enjoyed spending time with family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and pets. Debbie was an avid animal lover, who had a special place in her heart for all dogs. She frequently could be found feeding the neighborhood squirrels and birds off the front porch. She also had a love for travel. She loved Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. She especially loved going there in the fall (her favorite) to see the beautiful foliage. Her most important role in life was being an amazing mother to her three daughters, Heather, Heidi, and Lindsay. She always worked hard to provide for them, and they love and respect her more than can be put into words. Deborah is survived by her husband, Don Walker; daughters, Heather (Francis) Gay, Heidi Culley, and Lindsay Walker; grandchildren, Zachary (Emery) Gay, Jacob (Jessica) Gay, Nico, and Ian Gay; sisters, Patty Goins, Sharon (Don) Anderson, and Diana Sickle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Elizabeth (Quick) Lloyd; siblings, Mike Lloyd, Jerry Lloyd, and Barbara White; brothers-in-law, Tom Goins and Jack White; nephews, Dan White and Ryan Anderson; and niece, Shannon Callahan. A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with her cremation following services.
