Dorothy was born in Scott County, Kentucky, on August 13, 1929 to the late Virgil and Julia Ann (Roberts) Sullivan. On February 4, 1950 she was married to Vernon Turner in Paris, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1996. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She loved antiquing, gardening, canning and most of all, her family. She was well-known for her apple butter.
