In 1944, he moved to Boone County, just south of Lebanon, Indiana and in 1965, he moved to his farm home in rural Whitestown. On January 23, 1938, in Harrison County, Indiana, he was married to Ina Jean (Weathers) Hendricks, a loving union that lasted 71 years. Mrs. Hendricks passed away on December 22, 2009.For many years, Harold farmed grain and raised livestock, retiring in 1983. During the 1950’s he also worked for Allison’s and Chrysler for about 10 years. He had also been a custodian with the Lebanon School Corporation for several years.A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Harold enjoyed spending time with his family and taking care of the family farm.Memberships: Gadsden Church of Christ where he was a longtime Elder.Officiating: Elder Mike SimmsFuneral Services are planned for 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012.Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.Survivors: Two Children: Mr. Richard L.
