Jack Miller

Mr. Jack Miller, 88, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born on March 28, 1928 in Lebanon, a son of the late Russell and Helen Mabel (Rodgers) Miller. He attended Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis. Following school, Jack served his country during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1947. He was married to Julia Mae (Hysong) Miller, they later divorced. He then married Juanita Ruth (Branstetter) Elliott Miller; she survives. Following his return from the service, Jack worked as a mechanic at Shelby Chevrolet. He spent thirty years working in Campbellsburg as a farm and heavy equipment operator. Jack then became the owner of Miller Construction building houses until 2003. A devoted husband, father, step father, grandfather and great grandfather, Jack enjoyed spending time with his family. Memberships: Jamestown Church of Christ National Rifle Association Memorial services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home in Lebanon. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with arrangements.
