She was born in Lebanon, Indiana on January 24, 1936 the daughter of the late Floyd L. and Olive Lucile (Gibson) McDonald. A life-long resident of Lebanon, Jane graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1954. Following high school, she attended Indiana Business College. Jane worked in the Import/Export area of RCA – Thomson Consumer Electronics. She spent more than twenty years as a staff/volunteer at Conner Prairie in Fishers. In addition, Jane was the Sexton for Hopewell Cemetery in Lebanon for 45 years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Jane loved her family and the times they spent together. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, volunteering, bird watching and sports. Memberships: Hopewell Presbyterian Church – Lebanon, Indiana Indiana State Quilt Guild Hoosier Heritage Quilt Guild Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre – Indianapolis, Indiana Clinton County Civic Theater Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Pastor Shane Frazier, officiating.Visitation is planned from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at the funeral home in Lebanon.Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.
