Heaven is a brighter place with Jessica’s passing; however, it is definitely darker here on earth. Jessica Kira Watkins was born in San Diego, California on December 25, 1984. She was a daughter of Michael R. “Mike” Watkins and Debbie Dooley–Watkins.Jessica was raised in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School in 2007.For a period of time, she worked at Witham Memorial Hospital and the Boone County Child Development Center.Jessica enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics and the 4-H Open Show in Rush County. She had a fondness for movies, music, dancing, and singing. She participated in the Lebanon High School Choir throughout high school. She belonged to a bowling league, which led her to obtaining a gold medal in Indianapolis Special Olympics in 2012. Jessica very much enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a bright shining light in ways other would only see darkness. She was always giving many hugs and encouragement to anyone she met. Jessica was a girl who made whoever came in contact with her want to be a better person. She will be sadly missed by many.Memberships: Mt.
