A life resident of Boone County, Mrs. Clements was a graduate of Dover High School in 1939. Following high school, Josephine worked at the Boss Glove Factory in Lebanon for several years. On October 7, 1941, in Liberty, Kentucky, she was married to Cletus Francis Clements. Mr. Clements died on February 8, 1981.For ten years, Mrs. Clements was employed at the Stewart Warner Corporation in Lebanon. The next eight years the couple spent operating their own milk route. She then assisted her husband for a number of years handling the office work for his carpentry business.Josephine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She and Mr. Clements enjoyed travel and camping outings often including her grandchildren and great grandchildren in those family events.
