Age: 73 City of Residence: Lebanon, IndianaDate of Death: Friday, June 20, 2014Place of Death: at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana Kenneth Eldon Robinson was born in Indianapolis, on December 18, 1940, the son of the late Robert Eldon and Thelma Jewel (Abbott) Robinson.Raised in Boone County, he attended Whitestown schools. Following school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. and was honorably discharged January 1958.In June 1959, he was married to Johnnie Mae (Necessary) Robinson in Indianapolis. They later divorced. Mr. Robinson worked at the Blue & White Service Station in Indianapolis. In 1963, he was employed by Richardson Rubber Company out of Industry, California which made battery containers. He was then transferred back to Indianapolis and the company was sold to Witco Corp. which later became known as Connor Corp. until it closed in June 1999 and he retired at that time. During his retirement he worked part-time in security for Pamida in Lebanon. Kenneth thoroughly enjoyed his family and thought the world of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside Services are to be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County, Indiana.Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana is handling the arrangements.
