Margaret A. "Maggie" Fisher

Mrs. Margaret Ann “Maggie” Fisher, 88, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Witham Hospital in Lebanon. She was born in Casey Creek, Adair County, Kentucky, on January 12, 1928, a daughter of the late Linus and Annabel (Ewing) Wathen. Maggie attended St. Bernards Catholic School in Clementsville, Kentucky. In 1947, she moved to Indiana. On April 24, 1948, she was married to Leonard Gerald “Red” Fisher in Lebanon, Indiana. Mr. Fisher passed away on January 21, 2009. Maggie worked at the Holiday Inn in Lebanon for 25 years, retiring in 1998. Following her retirement, she continued to work part-time. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and dancing. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, at 10:00 a.m. on June 3, 2016, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 East South Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016. The Rosary will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow services at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon. Seven Children: David L. Fisher; a grandson, Shaun Fisher; a son-in-law, Richard Sutherlin; and a daughter-in-law, Denise Fisher.
