Roach is blessed to know that she has gone to the house of the Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2013. She was born in Vigo County, Indiana, on August 16, 1929, a daughter of the late Henry and Eathel E. (Fox) Arthur.Reared and educated in Prairie Creek, Indiana, she was a graduate of Prairie Creek High School. On March 26, 1954, in Vigo County, Indiana she was married to Lester Daniel Roach. Mr. Roach survives. In 1962, Marjorie’s family moved to the Whitestown area and for the past eight years, she had resided in Zionsville. For many years, she worked as a clerical supervisor at Detroit Diesel Allison’s. After retirement she worked for the National City Bank at both the Whitestown and Zionsville branches for several years. Marjorie was very active in the church choir, VBS, church missions and volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. During the 1980’s, she was a past board member of Zionsville Meadows where she also spent many hours there as the Activities Coordinator.Marjorie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be loved and missed by all. David Bourne, officiating.Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 and again on Wednesday from 1:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home in Lebanon.Interment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County, Indiana.
