Age: 79 Widowed City of Residence: Lebanon, IndianaDate of Death: Sunday, December 21, 2014Place of Death: at her home in Lebanon, Indiana Mrs. Mary Jeanette Ferrell was born on June 30, 1935, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Edgar Wilbur and Emily Teresa (VanAbeele) Cooney. She graduated from Southport High School in 1953. Mary was first married to Robert Leonard Peacher, he preceded her in death on May 11, 1968. On December 21, 1968, in Plainfield, Indiana, she was married to Garland Eugene Ferrell. Mr. Ferrell recently passed away on September 17, 2014. Mary had worked for the Indiana State Police as a bookkeeper/payroll clerk for twelve years. She then went to work as the office clerk for Cooney Real Estate. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mary took great pride in her family and taking care of her home. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitch, and volunteering for Special Olympics. Memberships: Plainfield Christian Church – Plainfield, Indiana Memorial Services are planned for Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Sharon Alexander, officiating.Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home in Lebanon.Private Interment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County, Indiana.Survivors: Five Children: Roberta L.
