On February 21, 1950, she was married to Quinton Roosevelt Elrod in Lebanon, Indiana. Mr. Elrod passed away on September 11, 2011. The Elrod’s had celebrated 61 years of marriage together.In the early 1950’s, Quinton and Mary Lou purchased Bel –Mar Products Corporation from Quinton’s siblings. She was the secretary at their place of business for many years.A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mary Lou always made sure her children and grandchildren were able to participate and attend various activities. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and collecting dolls.Memberships: Whitestown Methodist Church American Legion Auxiliary in Whitestown, IndianaVisitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. A Memorial Service for Mr. and Mrs. Elrod will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.
