He was the only child of the late Floyd and Rovene (Woodard) Williams and a descendent of James Hill. Raised and educated in Lebanon, Norman graduated from Lebanon High School in 1956. Following school, he joined the Air Force Reserve. On September 7, 1957, he was married to Janice Lea (Stewart) Williams at the First Baptist Church in Lebanon, Indiana. Mrs. Williams survives. A life resident of Lebanon, with the exception of two years in Florida, Norman worked as a construction supervisor for Davis Homes of Indianapolis and Kittle Herman of Indianapolis, retiring in 2003. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was an avid shooting sports enthusiast and enjoyed woodworking and tinkering in his garage. Norman and Janice enjoyed the time spent at their lake home in Monticello, Indiana. David Wright, officiating.Visitation is planned from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014, at the funeral home in Lebanon.Interment will follow service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
