Mrs. Olive Berniece Taylor Wells Age: 99 WidowedCity of Residence: Lebanon, IndianaDate of Death: Friday, December 20, 2013, at 11:02 p.m.Place of Death: Homewood Health Campus in LebanonMrs. Wells was born in rural Lebanon, Indiana, on October 13, 1914, a daughter of the late Vesper Earl and Lora (Cleaver) Edrington. She was reared and educated in Boone County and graduated from Dover High School in 1932. On June 4, 1932, Olive was married to Carl Thomas Taylor in Boone County, Indiana; he passed away on June 18, 1947. She then was married to James Edward Wells on August 21, 1956 at the Pleasant View Church in Boone County, Indiana. Mr. Wells passed away on November 26, 2008. Olive spent most of her life in Boone County with the exception of five years in Indianapolis. For 17 ½ years she worked as the receptionist for the medical office of Dr. Charles Weddle and Dr. Robert Wisehart. With the election of Frank Hiland as Treasurer for Boone Count, Olive started work as the Deputy Treasurer. She retired in 1976 after ten years with the Treasurer’s Office. After retiring she enjoyed spending her winters in Florida until Mr. Wells’ health limited their travel. Mrs. Wells was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. As part of her interest in community service, she helped establish, along with her devoted husband, the Faith Bible Camp for children near Crawfordsville. A highlight of her life was when she and her husband had travelled to the Holy Land. Olive enjoyed sharing her pictures with anyone who displayed an interest. Memberships: Order of the Eastern Star Pleasant View Church Visitation is planned for Saturday, December 28, 2013, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013, at 2:30 p.m., at Pleasant View Church, 5295 West State Road 32, Lebanon, Indiana, with Rev.
