French passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at her home in Lebanon. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on April 6, 1941, a daughter of the late Paul G. Strohl, Sr. and Mary (Jacobs) Strohl. Pat graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1959. On July 15, 1960, she was married to Stanley Lee French in Lebanon, Indiana. They enjoyed a beautiful and loving marriage until his passing on December 26, 1977. Pat worked for Lenox Lincoln Mercury as a business manager for 16 years. She then went to work for Reynolds & Reynolds from 1997 – 2003. Her last job prior to retirement was working part-time at Meridian Title Company until 2007. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Pat was a member of the Central Christian Church, The American Legion, and the VFW Auxiliary. She was also a retired member of Kappa Delta Phi. Pat enjoyed fishing, cooking, bowling and golfing. She was an avid Indiana University and Indianapolis Colts fan.Funeral Services will be held at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana, on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 1:00 p.m.Visitation is planned from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at the funeral home in Lebanon.A Private Interment of Ashes will take place at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
