Patricia A. Schrock

Patricia Anita (White) Hine Schrock, 84, of Lebanon, passed away in the presence of family on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis on May 9, 1931, a daughter of the late George Franklin and Anna Anita (Mills) White. She graduated from Shortridge High School in 1949. Pat married Charles Edward Hine in Indianapolis on August 6, 1949 and they were divorced in 1974. On March 27, 1982, she was married to Robert Burdett Schrock in Whitestown, Indiana. Robert passed away on May 18, 2004. Her longtime companion, Richard Uhler, passed away in November 2011. Her varied careers included opening and helping to run two drugstores, Hine Pharmacy, with locations in Whitestown and Zionsville. She then went to work for Kmart, Hallmark, and Kern Bros. Shoes as well as running an in-home daycare. She was a member of Whitestown United Methodist Church in Whitestown and was a member of the church’s altar guild. She was an active member of the Donald E. Pipes American Legion in Whitestown and the Brown Dolson VFW of Lebanon. Visitation is planned for Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.
