He was the son of the late Charles “Charlie” Woodard and Wilma J. (Barton) Bowen.A life resident of Boone County, he was a 1982 graduate of Lebanon High School. Following school, Rick joined the Indiana National Guard.In October 1988, he was married to Tracy (Mink) Woodard and they later divorced.Rick worked at various places throughout Boone County including, Wreck’s, Blue & White Truck Stop, T & A Truck Stop, and most recently at the Lebanon High School as a custodian.A devoted father and grandfather, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoyed walking, watching television especially races, playing video games, and tinkering around with his car and fixing it with duct tape. Always smiling and happy, Rick loved to joke around with family and friends and make them laugh.Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, Rev. Merv McNair, officiating.Visitation is planned for Tuesday, September 3, 2013, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home in Lebanon.Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.Survivors:Step-Mother: Linda K.
