Wilburdean "Dean" Sheets

Age: 74 Widowed City of Residence: Lebanon, Indiana Date of Death: Tuesday, February 17, 2015 Place of Death: at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon Mrs. Wilburdean H. “Dean” Sheets was born in Indianapolis on June 30, 1940, a daughter of Wilbur H. and Mary Ilene (Brown) Stambaugh. A longtime resident of Boone County, Dean attended Wells High School. She had lived in Thorntown for a period of time and for the last several years in Lebanon. On September 13, 1958, she was married to Marshall J. Sheets in Lebanon. Mr. Sheets passed away on July 29, 2001. Dean retired from Steak ‘N Shake in Lebanon. She has also worked in housekeeping for several years including Myers Mortuary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dean thoroughly loved every moment spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, Science Fiction television, and watching hummingbirds outside her window. Memberships: Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lebanon, Indiana Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Pastor Merv McNair, officiating. Visitation is planned from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015, at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Coulter – Lebanon, Indiana Gordon Adams and wife, Kelly – Indianapolis, Indiana Twenty-Three Grandchildren Numerous Great Grandchildren Brother: Robert “Bob” Stambaugh and wife, Betty – Colfax, Indiana Sister: Joan Clark – Danville, Indiana Half-Sister: Margaret Keller – Mace, Indiana Several Nieces and Nephew Deceased: In addition to her parents and her husband, Dean was preceded in death by three sisters, Catherine Miles, Josephine Ritter, and Willie Shaw; a half-brother, Charles Stambaugh; a daughter, Sheri Lin Sheets; a granddaughter, April Carolyn; son-in-law, James Starcher; and a brother-in-law, Paul Clark.
