Beverly G. Kersey

March 31, 1949 - January 11, 2022

Beverly Gay (Hinman-Graham) Kersey, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 11, 2022. Her life journey began March 31, 1949 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. The daughter of Juanita June Graham (deceased) and Kenneth Dale Hinman (deceased). She was the eldest of five children of Juanita and Samuel Graham (Patti, Mary Jo, Sam, Rob), and the eldest of three children of Kenneth and MaryAnne Hinman (Dennis, Tammy). She was a 1967 graduate of Northwest High School, and a 1993 graduate of University of Indianapolis with an Associate of Science degree. She worked as a Probate Paralegal for many years and loved her work. A loving and devoted mother, Beverly has three biological children: Jeffrey David Dixon (deceased), John Wakefield Swadner II, and Laura Louise (Swadner) Pope (deceased). She had four additional non-biological children: Michelle Kersey, Scott Kersey, Crystal (Nunn) Ashman, and Pamela (Dixon) Kroskie. She is a beloved Grammy to fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Sam, her son Jeff, and daughter Laura. Beverly was loved by all who knew her, as she never met a stranger, and would give of herself to help those in need. She will be forever missed. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Lebanon Eagles Lodge #2062 at 2140 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10 am - 12 pm, with celebration services beginning at 12 pm. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory in Lebanon, Indiana has been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
