Bonnie Twitty

Bonnie Lee Twitty, 76, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born on December 7, 1945; a daughter of the late Floyd and Mary (Neese) Maxwell. She was a 1964 graduate of Lebanon High School. On January 28, 2000, she was married to Larry F. Twitty; he survives. Bonnie was a dedicated employee with the Lebanon Community School Corporation for 25 years as a custodian. She also worked for 15 years with Aero Drapery in Westfield. She attended Lebanon Rock Church for many years. Bonnie enjoyed going out to eat, attending car shows and shopping. She was a kind and loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who adored her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Larry Twitty of Lebanon; son, Todd Harness of Lebanon; stepchildren, Tammy Culvertson of Michigan, Melissa Bledsoe of Indianapolis, Denise (Steve) Knipp of Lebanon, and Larry (Mendi) Twitty of Lebanon; numerous grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Connie (David) Taylor of Whitestown and Sandy Sutphin of Lebanon; brothers, John Maxwell of Spencer, Indiana and Larry (Sue) Maxwell of Lebanon; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by a son, Tim Harness and infant stepson, Larry Franklin Twitty, Jr.; and stepdaughter, Beverly Twitty. Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to Lebanon Rock Church, 504 East Elm Street, Lebanon, Indiana 46052.
