Cleva Ingham

Mrs. Cleva Ingham, 99, formerly of Grosse Pointe and Port Huron, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born October 2, 1920 and grew up in Sandwich Ontario, Canada, a daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Maude) Clarke. On October 17, 1941, she was united in marriage to her childhood sweetheart Harold H. Ingham in Sandwich, Ontario, in the Church that her Father built. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2008; together they shared 69 wonderful years. For many years, she worked as an executive in the Human Resources department at Hudson’s Department Store in Detroit, Michigan. Mrs. Ingham moved to Lebanon from Port Huron, Michigan in 2007. While in Lebanon, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Cleva was proud of her family and loved each of them with her whole heart. She had an affinity for flowers and was affectionately known as “Grandma Flower Lady”. She was responsible for planting and maintaining flowerbeds at Witham Memorial Hospital and Trinity Lutheran Church in the Lebanon community. In addition, she enjoyed listening to classical music and loved to shop. Survivors: Four Sons: Dr. Robert Harold (Dr. Maxine) Ingham of Henderson, Nevada Dr. Raymond V. (Laura) Ingham of Lebanon, Indiana Ronald Glenn (Suzie) Ingham of Punta Gorda, Florida Randall David (Sherry) Ingham of Christiansburg, Virginia Eight Grandchildren: Catherine Christopher Jason Sherrie Scott David Amanda Stacey Several Great Grandchildren In addition to her parents and her husband, Cleva was preceded in death by two sisters, Val Droullard and Thora Clarke; a brother, Harold Clarke, a brother-in-law, Joseph Droullard; and two grandchildren, Kelly and Matthew. A Celebration of Life is pending the pandemic. Graveside Services will take place at the family plot in the Veterans Division of Cadillac East Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
