Loretta Kay "Katy" Henderson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Loretta Kay “Katy” Henderson, 77, went home to be with Jesus Saturday, February 26, 2022 at The Restoracy of Whitestown. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana on September 25, 1944. Katy was the daughter of the late Clarence and Loretta Faye (Schimmel) Smith. Katy graduated from Dover High School in 1962. She was later married to Charles William “Bill” Henderson in Dayton, Indiana; he preceded her in death. Katy was a stay-at-home mom and a self-employed beautician for many years. She had a sweet and caring soul and loved her family dearly. Survivors include sons, Mark (Kristen) Henderson of Brownsburg, Indiana, Mike Henderson of Firth, Nebraska; grandchildren, Austin (Amber) Henderson of Lebanon, Hunter (Zack) Hoyt of Indianapolis, Hayes (Sydney) Henderson of Lebanon, Mallorie Wilson of Los Angeles, California, Cody (Kelcey) Henderson of Omaha, Nebraska; two great grandchildren, Jade and Braylee Henderson of Lebanon; sister, Debra Hinton of Lebanon; two nieces and a nephew. In addition to her parents and husband, Loretta was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Kay Henderson; grandson, Blaine Henderson; sister, Jane Thompson; brothers-in-law, Ken Thompson and Roger Hinton. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana. Graveside service for the family will be held at a later date at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort, Indiana. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation.
