Marilyn J. Ritchardson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Marilyn J. (Smith) Ritchardson, 69, of Advance, Indiana, passed away on July 12, 2022 at Witham Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on March 9, 1953; a daughter of the late Ermine and Francis Nadine Smith. Marilyn was the first female volunteer firefighter for Advance, Indiana and Boone County EMT. She also owned and operated Rainbow Recovery in Crawfordsville, Indiana, as a drug and alcohol counselor until retirement due to health reasons. She was devoted to her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children; Misty (David) Harrington of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Kristy (Matt) Busenbarrick of Lebanon, Indiana and Mandy Abney of Brazil, Indiana; brothers, Dennis, Michael, Terrence (Linda) Smith, Daniel (Peggy) Smith; sister, Sharon Spears (Fred Long); nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; and very special friend/daughter, Kim Martin. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, Matthew P. “Matt” Beeson and daughter-in-law, Melissa K. Beeson. No services will be held at this time.
