Rose Marie Scarborough Williams
December 17, 1939 - February 5, 2022
Rose passed away peacefully at home on February 5, 2022 surrounded by family and her beloved cats and dog. Rose was the daughter of Irvin and Mary Scarborough in Indianapolis and had nine brothers and sisters. She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1958 and earned a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a profession she proudly served for many years. She married Glenn T. “Tom” Williams on November 28, 1964, and had two daughters, Elizabeth Perry of West Milford, New Jersey and Teresa Byrd of Lebanon. She is survived by her husband, daughters, and grandchildren, Will, Kirstin, and Wesley Byrd of Lebanon and Emily and Joe Perry of West Milford. Rose loved her family and, over the years, taking care of many pets and farm animals. She was active in 4-H and served as a 4-H leader for several years. She and Tom spent many happy years during the summer at their lakeside cabin at Crane Lake, Minnesota. There will be no services. Rose requested that donations be made to the Boone County Cancer Society or the Humane Society for Boone County. Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers Mortuary of Lebanon.
