True J. Wagoner Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. True James Wagoner, Jr., 78, of Thorntown, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. He was born November 3, 1943, in Marion County, Indiana a son of the late True J. Wagoner, Sr. and Myrtle (Murphy) Wagoner. He was a 1962 graduate of Pike High School. Following high school he served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1963-1967 as a First Mate Seaman. True was a machinist for General Motors for many years. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting and fishing. Survivors include his daughter, Trudi L. (Richard) Beiter of Florida; son, T.J. Wagoner, III of Brazil, Indiana; life partner, Toni Bowles of Thorntown; also surviving are Sarah Stradling of Virginia, Laura Gillman of Fort Wayne, Ericha Hite of Lebanon, Joe Bowles of Lebanon; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; cousin, Mark Wagoner of Indianapolis. In addition to parents, True was preceded in death by a sister, Sonya Etter. Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Whitestown American Legion Post #410, 5 Linville Ave., Whitestown, Indiana 46075. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements. Memorials may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society
