Age: 86 Widowed City of Residence: Franklin, Indiana and formerly of Lebanon, IndianaDate of Death: Friday, October 24, 2014Place of Death: at her residence in Franklin, Indiana Bette Jean Tallman, 86, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014. She was born in Crawford County, Missouri, on July 9, 1928, the only daughter of the late James W. and Anna Elizabeth (James) Blunt. On July 28, 1946, in Rolla, Missouri, she was married to Henry Wesley “Hank” Tallman. Mr. Tallman passed away on December 19, 2010. Mrs. Tallman was raised and educated in Cuba, Missouri. She and Mr. Tallman had lived in St. Louis for nine years and Pacific, Missouri for six years. The Tallmans moved to Lebanon in 1962 with their two daughters. While in Lebanon, she had worked as an office manager for Lloyd G. Smith & Sons for ten years. In 1983, she went to work as a bookkeeper for Jones Burgess Gennaro and Breedlove. She last worked with her husband, Hank, at Tallman Enterprises and retired in 2000. Bette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her family, she enjoyed gardening and sewing. Memberships: First Presbyterian Church in LebanonMemorial Services are planned for Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 128 E. Main Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Rev.
