She was a life resident of Boone County and attended Lebanon High School. On August 18, 1952, she was married to James “Jim” Woodard in Frankfort, Indiana. Mr. Woodard survives. Deamie was a devoted homemaker and for a period of time she worked for Commercial Filters Corporation and Lebanon Utilities Company as a custodian. In addition to her loving family, she enjoyed playing Bingo, reading, working crossword puzzles, fishing, and she loved to travel.Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana, with Pastor Jerry Disbro, officiating.Visitation is planned for Thursday, April 17, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Lebanon.Interment will follow services at Center Cemetery east of Lebanon, Indiana.
