Bragg was born in Sheridan, Indiana, on November 8, 1929. He was a son of the late Rosca M. and Vada Lulu (Stephenson) Bragg. Mr. Bragg graduated from Sheridan High School in 1948. He worked as a farm hand prior to his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. where he served his country honorably during the Korean War, being discharged in 1954. On August 18, 1951, he was married to Barbara June (Baker) Bragg in Boone County, Indiana. Mrs. Bragg passed away on April 27, 2009.For thirty-two years, Ed worked as an airline mechanic for US Airways. He began his career in Indianapolis, he moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1973 and moved to Indianapolis in 1980. He retired in the early 1990s.He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather great grandfather and great great grandfather. Ed loved his family and his many grandchildren. Among other things, he particularly enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He had also served as a deacon and elder in several churches, the most recent church being Elizaville Christian Church.Memberships: Elizaville Christian Church Sheridan Masonic Lodge Funeral Services are to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Elizaville Christian Church, 5745 North 500 East, in Elizaville, Indiana, with Rev. Ed Roark, Rev. Jim Kyle, and Pastor Kevin Bragg, officiating.Visitation is planned from noon to 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the church in Elizaville.Interment with military rites will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.Survivors: Five Children: Mr. Mickie E. Bragg and wife, Mary Kay – Lebanon, Indiana Mrs. Mary Ann Hicks and husband, Glenn – Thorntown, Indiana Ms. Laura L. Westart – Lebanon, Indiana Mrs. Glenda M. Highland and husband, Samuel L.
