James A Quellhorst

James A. Quellhorst, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born in Tipton, Indiana on December 26, 1930, the son of the late Raymond J. Quellhorst and Nellie (Tragesser) Quellhorst. James graduated from Lebanon High School in 1949. On December 31, 1955, he was married to Barbara (Pefley) Quellhorst; she survives. James was a lifetime farmer and worked at Barney Jackson Farm Services then Allis Chambers for 35 years. Jim was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed restoring antique tractors and gardening in his spare time. “We were not there for his first breath, but with love we were there for his last”. Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 and also from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 16, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 East South Street, Lebanon, Indiana. The Rosary will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the funeral home in Lebanon. A Mass of the Resurrection is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Lebanon, Indiana with Rev. Timothy Kroeger, officiating. Interment will follow services at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.
