Jean E. O'Neal

Mrs. Jean E. O’Neal, 60, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at IU Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 24, 1955, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Betty E. (Claiborne) Johnson. Jean was a 1973 graduate of North Central High School in Indianapolis. She then went on to Ball State University and graduated in 1978 with a nursing degree. On February 20, 1999, she was married to Kevin R. O’Neal at Union Chapel Church in Indianapolis; he survives. Jean worked as a High Tech Infusion Nurse for Walgreens Option Care in Carmel. She was an active member of Traders Point Christian Church where she participated in a small group bible study. At the same time, she also attended the Creative Living Bible Study Group at the Hope Church in Indianapolis for 30 years and taught the 2-3 year olds for over 25 years. Jean was a devoted follower of Christ and loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Funeral Services will be held at the Traders Point Christian Church, 6590 South Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, Indiana, on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at 4:00 p.m. Visitation is planned from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church in Whitestown. Interment will follow services at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana. Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana is handling the arrangements.
