She was raised and educated in the Sheridan community and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1964. Following high school, Judi attended Indiana State University. On January 12, 1968, she was married to Allan L. Adams in Indianapolis. Mr. Adams survives. Judi was a stay-at-home mom and she loved the years spent raising her children. Once her children were raised, she started her own cleaning service and also owned and operated the Black Lantern Antique Shop in Kirklin. Judi belonged to A & D Camping Club. She thoroughly enjoyed camping and traveling around to different spots. She had a love of the out-of-doors and liked to take pictures of scenery and bird watch. For many years, Judi participated in a Euchre club where she met many of her longtime friends. Having had various hobbies and interests, her greatest enjoyment in life was her grandchildren; she took great pleasure in attending their activities and events.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.Visitation is planned for Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Lebanon.Entombment will follow services at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County, Indiana.
