Morris was born in Frankfort, Indiana, on November 4, 1939. He was the son of the late Wesley Alfred and Mary Elizabeth (Huffer) Morris.Reared and educated in Lebanon, Kay graduated from Lebanon High School in 1957. He attended Purdue University. He also attended Wayne Township Fire Academy and graduated as a 1st class firefighter. Later he received his Associates Degree in Management from Ivy Tech.On August 9, 1959, he was married to Sue Carolyn (Petticord-Shannon) Morris in Lebanon, Indiana. Mrs. Morris survives.Kay was a 30 year member of the Center Township Fire Department and a licensed auctioneer for a period of time. His employment included, Alton Box Company, Farm Bureau Co-Op, Lau Industries, Pearson Education and Witham Memorial Hospital, all of Lebanon. Kay also owned and operated AGRICO Fertilizer of Kirklin. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Kay enjoyed gardening, motorcycling and traveling. He was an avid sports fan, specifically following the Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, Purdue Basketball and NASCAR.Memberships: Former member of the Browns Wonder United Church of Christ in Lebanon Boone Masonic Lodge # 9 F. & A. Past Worthy Patron of Lebanon Chapter # 23 O.E.S.Funeral Services with Masonic Rites are to be held on Friday, May 3, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Pastor Andrew Bowen, officiating.Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Lebanon from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013.Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort, Indiana.Survivors:Wife: Mrs. Sue C.
