Marjorie Bernice Isenhower

Mrs. Marjorie Bernice Isenhower, 85, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Hickory Creek at Lebanon. She was born on March 12, 1930 in Boone County, Indiana to the late Russell Reagan and Arlean (Ferguson) Reagan. Marjorie was a lifelong resident of Boone County and attended Dover High School. On March 13, 1948, she was married to Ralph Donald Isenhower; he passed away on April 15, 1984 Marjorie worked at Thorntown Textile for a few years before she began working on the assembly line for Shumate Business Forms. She then went on to work for Commercial Filters, were she was an inspector on the assembly lines, retiring after over twenty years of employment. Marjorie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. In her spare time, Marjorie enjoyed knitting, crafting, woodworking and flower gardening. She loved her family and cherished the time spent together, especially camping. The family would like to give Special Thanks to the staff at Hickory Creek for the care of Marjorie. Funeral Services are planned for 12:00 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2015 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service, at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana. Survivors: Children: Donna Ballard and husband, Tom – Thorntown, Indiana Ralph Isenhower and wife, Sarah – Mechanicsburg, Indiana Grandchildren: Melissa Smith and husband, Eric – Thorntown, Indiana Thomas Ballard – Indianapolis, Indiana Amy Zarychta and husband Eric - Tennessee Brock Isenhower – Lebanon, Indiana Chad Martin and wife, Lori – Lebanon, Indiana Step Granddaughter: Chris Thomas and wife, Kerri – Mechanicsburg, Indiana Numerous Great Grandchildren Several Great Great Grandchildren Sisters: Martha Caldwell – Kirklin, Indiana Jane Banter – Hillisburg, Indiana Kay Woodruff and husband, Ron – Lebanon, Indiana Mary Hendershot – Atlanta, Texas Brothers: Paul “Pete” Reagan and wife Nancy – Lebanon, Indiana Phil Reagan and wife, Becky – Avon, Indiana Numerous Nieces and Nephews Deceased: In addition to her parents and her husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Debe Lee Isenhower; Sisters: Maude Strong, Rosie Besie, and Ruby Davis; Brothers: William “Bill” Reagan, Ernie Reagan, and Tom Reagan; Sisters-in-Law: Betty Reagan and Marian Reagan; Brothers-in-Law: Mike Besie, Ammon Davis, Ted Hendershot, Joe Banter, Lawrence Strong, and Robert Caldwell. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
