Michael K. Click

Michael “Mike” Keith Click, 80, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Life’s Journey Hospice in Avon, Indiana. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana on September 25, 1940; a son of the late Wayne Lawrence and Bette Ann (Armstrong) Click. He was a 1958 graduate of Lebanon High School. Following high school, he attended International Correspondence School and Purdue University where he received an Associate’s degree in Marketing. On August 24, 1963, he was united in marriage with Mary Jane (Hankins) Click; they recently celebrated 58 loving years together. Mike was a marketing sales manager with Commercial Filters from 1962 to 2002; which is now Parker Hannifin Corporation. He was a dedicated member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Lebanon. He was also a member of the Lebanon Elks. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather as well as a good friend to many. Mike always liked a good round of golf, reading, and was an avid sports fan. Following retirement, he was a dedicated volunteer at Witham Memorial Hospital for many years, which he truly enjoyed. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Click of Lebanon; son, Jeffry M. “Jeff” (Debi) Click of Carmel; granddaughter, Julia Click of Carmel; one brother, Fr. Patrick R. Click of Indianapolis; one sister, Susan (Raymond) Achin of Marshfield, Massachusetts; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by three brothers, Christopher J. Click, Timothy “Tim” W. Click and Nicholas “Nick” B. Click. Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 319 East South Street in Lebanon with his brother, Fr. Patrick Click, officiating. The family will greet friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Burial of Ashes will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his arrangements.
