Mrs. McDonald attended schools in Darlington and Thorntown and was a graduate of Darlington High School in 1940.On June 28, 1940, she was married to Devon Robert McDonald, in Montgomery County, Indiana. Mr. McDonald passed away on May 11, 1999. Mrs. McDonald began working as a waitress at Wheeler’s in Lebanon. She worked at the Sunset Motel and Thorntown Textile. In 1973, she and her son started the Knotty Pine Inn in Lebanon.A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Mrs. McDonald enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
