She was the daughter of the late Harley Wesley and Mary Alice (Griffith) Pharms. Mrs. Hood attended schools in Kentucky. In 1955, she and her family moved to Lebanon, Indiana.On October 29, 1949, in Lebanon, she was married to Richard Melvin Hood. Mr. Hood passed away on October 1, 1983.Mrs. Hood had worked in local restaurants in many capacities. For a period of time, she worked as a nurse’s aid at English Nursing Home, formally known as Oak Park Manor and had also worked at Stewart Warner in Lebanon.Rosa was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed the time spent with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies included fishing, gardening, cleaning and baking.Memberships: Lebanon Bible Baptist Church Funeral Services are planned for Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Pastor Matt Skiles and Rev.
